The Syrian Army has started using new Grad multiple rocket launch systems mounted on Toyota utility vehicles during an offensive against Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) positions in the Deir Hafer region.
The movement was captured on video and shared by the channel Syria Retold Daily on X.
The footage shows a convoy of eleven combat vehicles lined up along a road, moments before the start of a firing mission. The visual pattern of the launchers indicates that these systems are not improvised adaptations but mass-produced units.
According to Syrian military analysts, the vehicles have standardized designs and a good level of finish, supporting the industrial manufacturing hypothesis. Each platform is equipped with a launcher block containing 12 rocket rails, a typical feature of Grad systems.
The launchers are reportedly manufactured by the Syrian company Ra’ed, directly linked to the Ministry of Defense and specialized in weapons modernization.
